International Students Admission Directive
Article 1 – Purpose
The purpose of this directive is to define the principles and procedures governing the admission of international students to Üsküdar University.
Article 2 – Scope
This directive covers all processes related to the admission of international students to Üsküdar University, including determination of quotas, application requirements, selection and placement procedures, and registration processes.
Article 3 – Legal Basis
This directive is prepared in accordance with the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) Principles on the Admission of Students from Abroad dated 21 January 2010.
Article 4 – Definitions
University: Üsküdar University Rectorate: Üsküdar University Rectorate Senate: Üsküdar University Senate International Student: A student who has completed secondary education equivalent to Turkish high schools and who is not a citizen of the Republic of Türkiye or the TRNC.
Article 5 – Application Requirements
Applicants must submit the required documents through the Online Application System or International Relations Directorate.
Article 6 – Required Documents for Registration
Applicants who receive a Full Acceptance Letter must submit original academic documents, passport, and language proficiency certificates during registration.
Article 7 – Eligibility for International Student Status
Applicants must meet international student eligibility criteria as defined by relevant laws and regulations.
Article 8 – Ineligible Applicants
Applicants who do not meet eligibility requirements defined in Article 7 are not eligible for admission.
Article 9 – Selection and Evaluation
Applications are evaluated based on international or national exam results or secondary education equivalency certificates.
Article 10 – Application Fee
Upon approval, the remaining amount of the deposit payment will be refunded after deducting a USD 500 service fee.
Article 11 – Visa Procedures
Students must apply for a student visa upon receipt of the Full Acceptance Letter.
Article 12 – Language of Instruction and Preparatory Programs
Students must meet language proficiency requirements or attend preparatory programs.
Article 13 – Entry into Force
This directive enters into force upon approval by the Senate of Üsküdar University.
Article 14 – Execution
The provisions of this directive are executed by the Rector of Üsküdar University.
